Integration at its finest
Our company switched to Trend Micro Deep Security as a Service and are loving the integrations with various cloud providers. No more hassle with on-prem, or even on-cloud, servers to manage or support. The CloudOne Console brings all environments together for a single view managing a global infrastructure. Trend Micro already had a great security product, but now is more efficiently managed in a truly centralized console (in the cloud).

Cloud One - Workload Security IPS for the win
What do you like best about the product?
Cloud One's Workload Security IPS feature is easily the best part of the Workload Security application stack for what we needed. It provides us with excellent support for otherwise out-of-support applications and OS levels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the deployment methodology for the scripted client deployments depend on Powershell versions that may not be available on Legacy systems. Hence, batch files need writing to accommodate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main issue resolved by Cloud one is the securing of our Legacy applications and OSs. The SaaS provides significant support to 'virtually' patch software that otherwise would be out of support.
We found that this platform can provide us with extended coverage on any of our software that is otherwise version-locked.
A centralized management console to protect, detect & react
What do you like best about the product?
Deep Security is an ideal solution with a very advanced technology that protects physical and virtual workstations and defends against known and unknown attacks. It protects against advanced network threats with the capability of the embedded intrusion detection and prevention features.
It's easy to use, and the management console is simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deep Security agent should include some other essential features such as Application Control, Device monitoring, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The virtual patching process is impressive. It provides an advanced layer of security that protects our servers and endpoints from threats that can exploit existing vulnerabilities.
Trend Cloud One... great product, great partner
We have been a Trend Apex One customer now for about 4-5 years. We have had great experience with the product, and the partner. The product is almost always a leader in any given space of IT Security. We have looked for new features and functionality, and generally found it is already baked into our product and we just need to turn it on!
That is so rare in 3rd party apps, generally when you are looking to do something new and additional, you are on the phone with your sales rep and getting quotes and figuring out if you can afford to do what you want to do. That single point, is one of the greatest selling points of partnering with Trend.
Great product, always improving
What do you like best about the product?
We purchased a Trend Suite about 4-5 years ago. I really like that hte product and technologies are constantly being improved and ehanced, usually the industry leader in a broad arena of security products. What I like most is that we are constantly getting new technologies, without our sales rep knocking for more money. They keep innovative and putting new products into the existing suite, and the existing agreement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rather rare in softwware vendors relationships, but have nothing to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have not had a major security incident since deploying the product, and had much better visibility of what is happening in our environment.
Thank you!
We are satisfied , the vendor support was professional and the product itself was a huge step forward to our business.
Trend Micro Cloud One
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Trend Micro Deep Security Manager (on-prem) for several years now and have just recently switched over to Cloud One, and I have to say, It is truly the best.
The interface is easy to use. Installation of the agent via the deployment scripts could not be simpler. The level of customizability you have within each module allows you to custom tailor your level of protection to the type of workload that is running on each system. When we have run into issues, the support team is always there to help and is extremely knowledgeable about the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not yet found anything I dislike about Cloud One. The issues I had with the product mostly related to the on-prem deployment, but those have all gone away now that we no longer manage the underlying infrastructure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a wide array of assets running in the cloud across several different accounts and cloud providers. Cloud One has allowed us to easily protect those assets as well as keep track of them (via cloud connectors). Up until DSM/Cloud One, we did not have a solid understanding of how many cloud assets we really had.
Leading Cloud Infrastructure Product
What do you like best about the product?
Trend Micro is a leader in security protection software so when it came time to choose a product for our cloud infrastructure it was an easy decision to choose their Cloud One product. The flexible cloud based all-in-one solution made it easy to configure and automate deployment. From a management perspective their dashboards make it easy to monitor our environment for any potential threats and respond immediately if warranted. We primarily use it for network and file storage security but also provides an application security solution for DevOps. This product meets our needs today and will continue to do so long into the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the pricing was a little better. It does seem to be on the higher side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing security to our cloud based environment.
Conformity and Workload are fantastic solutions for cloud protection.
What do you like best about the product?
Using Workload and Conformity products has provided our organization much great insight into the vulnerabilited and supplied the means to confidently identify risk and protect our cloud platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some policy management can be combersome in Workload. Azure Dev ops intergration in Conformity would make it a grand slam.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Risk management and endpoint protection for cloud and server platforms.
