What do you dislike about the product?
No such thing as yet. Just improve the portal and add file level Backup + Hyper V backup
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backing up all the VM on Cloud is the main reason we are using Clumio. It takes the snapshot of the VM which is a good reason to use Clumio

Don't listen to the hype
What do you like best about the product?
Fast and efficient technical support. Before we purchased Clumio we were told the cost would never go up then all of a sudden two years later they changed their licensing and the cost nearly quadrupled. Fast and efficient backups. Backups can be archived for a very long time, up to seven years.
What do you dislike about the product?
Technical support personnel have heavy accents, making it difficult to understand them when working with them on the phone. Most of the time, however, I worked with them through email. Despite the language barrier, their tech support is top-notch. They have been able to solve every issue we've had thus far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting backups offsite to the cloud. Cost increases for previous backup software (Veeam) were significant. No longer need on premise hardware to store backups so savings on equipment, plus software. Overall cost per virtual server being backed up has gone down by switching to Clumio.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Stay away from Clumio, they don't fulfill their promises
Clumio first 90 days
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of implementing Clumio. We had it up in running in about an hour. There are no physical servers needed, so all you do is load a few OVAs, provided by Clumio and start adding VMs to be backed up.
The support has been great as well. The response to any issues or questions are usually responded to within a few minutes. They have also implemented a few suggestions we've had, into the product.
Since Clumio is an all in one solution, software and cloud infrastructure included, means you don't have to worry about paying separately for backup software and cloud space. For us that's a big plus.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not all of the reporting capabilities are available yet, but they are being worked on. One of the things I'm looking for is, the ability to export a list of all VMs being backed up and also lists from the different backup policies. We do currently get these lists from our SE once a week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking to get away from on-prem backup storage and Clumio has allowed us to do that for our VM environment.
So far, we've have been able to retire two large backup storage systems, along with licensing cost from other backup software.
Clumio has also provided us an easy way to get started into cloud computing.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If someone is looking for an easy solution for backing up their VM environment, I would definitely suggest taking a look at Clumio.
Centralized cloud backup solution
What do you like best about the product?
Clumio provides us with a single management dashboard to manage backups and restores for both VMware and 0365. They provide proactive notifications when support notices issues to ensure backups are completed correctly, and no data is missed or lost. Clumio support is very responsive and always available when you need assistance. In addition, Clumio gives us the ability to set our own backup interval and retention policies to ensure compliance with our DR plan.
In 2022, Clumio made several changes to its platform and licensing, and we have since moved away from the solution.

What do you dislike about the product?
A more detailed restore dashboard with details on how the restore is progressing. Direct restore of files in to the VM instead of having to download and manually restore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As of 2022 we no longer use Clumio
Clumio has been a life saver and a budget saver too!
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to setup. Low and fixed cost. You will never get a surprise bill from your cloud storage provider
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, nothing. I have not personally found any problem with the platform.

So easy and works really well.
What do you like best about the product?
It is super simple. It just works. Many backup solutions fail all the time. This just works. Their support is also really good. May times I call other companies for support and I know more about their product than they do. That is not the case with Clumio. These guys are very professional and always get the job done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really have ZERO complaints. They have added features when we were missing something. We were one of their first customers and they have advanced the product quickly and it has paid off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offsite backups. But most important having a backup solution that we don't need to babysit. It just works and frees us up to do more important things that need my attention.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just go for it. They are top rate. You wont regret it.
